Career steersman is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide learners in choosing the right academic programs and support them throughout the enrollment process. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, counseling experience, and a passion for education and career guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel students via calls, WhatsApp, email, and virtual meetings
Understand student goals and recommend suitable courses/programs
Handle leads, follow-ups, and conversions effectively
Explain course details, fees, eligibility, and career outcomes
Support students with admission and onboarding processes
Maintain accurate student data and counseling records
Achieve weekly and monthly enrollment targets
Provide post-enrollment support and ensure student satisfaction
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate in any discipline (Education background preferred)
0-3 years of experience in academic counseling / education sales
Excellent communication skills in English & regional language
Strong persuasion, counseling, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable with CRM tools, calls, and follow-up processes
Goal-oriented and proactive approach
