Key Responsibilities
Counsel and guide students on educational programs, course selection, and career pathways.
Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, workshops, and seminars to support academic development.
Monitor student progress and provide timely interventions to address challenges.
Collaborate with faculty, parents, and administrative staff for comprehensive student support.
Maintain accurate student records using counseling and information systems.
Lead and mentor support staff or junior team members when required.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with ethical counseling practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counseling or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of career pathways, academic advising practices, and educational programs.
Familiarity with student information systems and counseling software.
Ability to work effectively in a team and lead when required.
Based in Calicut or willing to relocate.
