Role Summary
The Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to final enrollment. The role focuses on counseling students, understanding their educational goals, converting leads into admissions, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. The counselor serves as the primary point of contact for students and parents during the admission journey.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counseling & Lead Management
Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, eligibility, fees, curriculum, and career outcomes.
Handle inquiries received via calls, emails, walk-ins, social media, and digital campaigns.
Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs based on academic background and career aspirations.
Admissions & Enrollment Process
Guide students through the complete admission process including application, documentation, and fee payment.
Follow up consistently with leads to ensure timely conversion.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
Communication & Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with students and parents through clear, empathetic, and professional communication.
Address queries, concerns, and objections related to courses, fees, and outcomes.
Maintain long-term relationships to support retention and referrals.
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM or internal systems.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.
Track conversion ratios and suggest improvements to the admission process.

Educational Qualifications
