We are looking for a knowledgeable and student-focused

Academic Counselor

to guide students and parents about courses, career options, and institute programs. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to convert inquiries into admissions by providing accurate guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle walk-in inquiries, phone calls, and online leads related to admissions. Explain course details, curriculum, fees, career opportunities, and admission processes to students and parents. Provide career guidance and help students choose the right program based on their interest and background. Follow up with prospective students and maintain strong conversion rates. Assist with student registration, documentation, and admission procedures. Coordinate with faculty, administration, and management for smooth academic operations. Maintain updated records of inquiries, leads, follow-ups, and admissions. Participate in seminars, workshops, and promotional activities (if required). Build and maintain a positive relationship with students throughout their course journey.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong convincing ability and student-handling capability. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM, Email). Good understanding of academic programs and career pathways (training will be provided). Pleasant personality with a student-friendly approach. Experience in counselling, admissions, or customer service preferred.
