Academic Counsellors
to join our dynamic counselling and sales team. In this role, you will guide students and parents in making informed academic choices while driving enrolments and contributing to the growth of Xylem Learning.
This position is ideal for individuals with prior experience in academic counselling, consultative sales, or the education sector who are eager to achieve ambitious targets while shaping the academic journey of aspiring learners.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with prospective students and parents through structured outbound and inbound calls using our in-house lead database.
Identify academic goals, challenges, and career aspirations, recommending the most suitable programs.
Present Xylem Learning's program offerings and advantages in a clear, engaging, and persuasive manner.
Deliver personalised counselling to establish trust, build strong relationships, and ensure student success.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets.
Maintain accurate records of interactions, follow-ups, and enrolments using CRM tools.
Collaborate with academic, marketing, and operations teams to stay updated on programs, promotions, and industry trends.
Share feedback and insights to enhance lead-generation strategies and the overall student experience.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree (any discipline).
0-2 years of experience in academic counselling, student advisory, or sales (preferably in the education sector).
Proven ability to achieve or surpass enrolment/sales targets.
Key Skills
Strong verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.
Quick rapport-building and credibility with students and parents.
Highly target-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
