Job Summary:

The Academic Counselor supports students in achieving their academic goals by providing guidance on course selection, degree planning, and career pathways. They monitor student progress, identify academic challenges, and work collaboratively with faculty and administration to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise students on academic requirements, course selection, and degree programs. Assist students in developing academic plans and setting achievable educational goals. Monitor student progress and intervene with support strategies when needed. Maintain up-to-date student records and documentation of advising sessions. Support students in identifying and preparing for career or further education opportunities. Collaborate with faculty, registrars, and department heads to ensure effective academic policies and support systems. Stay informed about curriculum changes, academic policies, and institutional updates.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field Previous experience in academic advising, counseling, or student services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of educational systems and academic regulations. Experience working with diverse student populations
Note: This position is commission-based, with earnings directly linked to student enrollments and the successful delivery of counseling services

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
