Job Title: Academic Counselor

Location: Bengaluru

Working Days: 6 Days a Week (Monday to Saturday)

Timings: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience: Freshers Only

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Academic Counselor to guide students in their academic journey, provide personalized academic advice, and support them in achieving their educational and career goals. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of academic policies, offer career guidance, and help students navigate challenges in their academic paths.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one academic counseling to students, helping them choose courses, select academic majors, and plan their educational goals. Advise students on academic policies, requirements, and procedures, ensuring they meet graduation and program prerequisites. Assist students in developing study strategies, time management skills, and overcoming academic challenges. Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Provide emotional and social support to students, referring them to additional services (mental health counseling, tutoring, etc.) when necessary. Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and other school personnel to address student concerns and academic needs. Stay current on trends in higher education and changes to academic policies. Organize workshops, seminars, or events aimed at academic success, study skills, and career readiness. Maintain accurate records of student interactions, progress, and counseling sessions.
Qualifications:

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelor's in any field, preferably Education, Counseling, or a related field.
