Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated

Academic Counselor

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in helping students make informed decisions about their academic futures.

Key Responsibilities:

Counseling Students:

Provide guidance to students regarding various study abroad options, including universities, courses, and locations based on their academic interests and career goals.

Application Assistance:

Help students with the preparation of application documents, including SOPs (Statements of Purpose), LORs (Letters of Recommendation), and other necessary paperwork.

University Liaison:

Build and maintain relationships with international universities, assisting in providing updated information to students regarding programs and deadlines.

Marketing & Outreach:

Actively participate in marketing initiatives, including university tie-ups, fairs, and events aimed at promoting study abroad opportunities.

Regular Follow-ups:

Stay in regular touch with students throughout their application process, providing support and answering any questions they may have.

Data Management:

Maintain student records, track progress, and provide regular reports to the senior management team.

Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education, Counseling, or any related field).

Experience:

1-3 years of experience in academic counseling, educational consultancy, or related fields (freshers can also apply if they possess strong communication skills).

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and universities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Languages:

Proficiency in English and Hindi ,tamil kannada,telungu (or any additional regional languages is a plus).

Salary:

40,000 to
70,000 per month based on experience, performance, and skill set.
