Role Overview

As an Academic Counselor, you will provide personalized guidance to students, assisting them in navigating their academic journey, selecting appropriate courses, and aligning their educational pursuits with career aspirations. Your role is pivotal in fostering student success, retention, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities1. Academic Advising

Assist students in selecting courses and developing academic plans that align with their degree requirements and career goals. Monitor and evaluate students' academic progress, providing timely interventions when necessary. Advise on academic policies, procedures, and graduation requirements.
2. Career Guidance

Provide counseling on career options, job market trends, and further education opportunities. Assist in resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies. Organize career development workshops and seminars.
3. Personal Development Support

Offer guidance on time management, study skills, and stress management techniques. Address personal issues affecting academic performance and refer students to appropriate support services. Promote a balanced approach to academic and personal life.
4. Administrative Duties

Maintain accurate and confidential student records. Prepare reports on student progress and counseling activities. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success initiatives.
5. Workshops and Outreach

Develop and deliver workshops on topics such as academic success strategies, career planning, and personal development. Participate in orientation programs for new students. Engage in outreach activities to promote counseling services.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
