We are seeking an enthusiastic and target-driven Academic Counselor to join our EdTech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students, explaining course offerings, and converting leads into enrollments.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls to reach prospective students.
Counsel students on courses, career pathways, and program benefits.
Follow up with leads and maintain strong communication until conversion.
Achieve weekly and monthly admission/enrollment targets.
Maintain records of student interactions and update CRM systems.
Coordinate with the academic and operations team for smooth onboarding of students.
Participate in webinars, counseling sessions, and promotional events.
Provide accurate information about courses, fees, batches, and admission procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or EdTech sales.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
Good knowledge of counseling techniques and CRM tools.
Persuasive, customer-focused, and goal-oriented mindset.
