Academic Counsellor - consultative counselling role, not a core sales job

About the Role

We are seeking a

dynamic and empathetic Academic Counsellor

to guide students in making informed decisions about their education and career. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a student-first approach, and the ability to match students' aspirations with our educational programs.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students on educational opportunities, admission processes, and career pathways. Understand students' needs and recommend suitable programs. Handle walk-ins, inquiries, calls, and online leads effectively. Maintain proper records of counselling sessions and follow-ups in the CRM system. Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure smooth onboarding of students. Achieve monthly counselling and enrollment targets. Conduct orientation sessions, seminars, and workshops for prospective students as required.

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor's degree (Education, Psychology, Management, or related field preferred). Prior experience in counselling, admissions, or student advisory roles (preferred, but freshers with excellent communication skills are also welcome). Strong interpersonal and listening skills. Ability to build trust and rapport with students and parents. Goal-oriented with the ability to work under minimal supervision. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,080.11 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
