We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide prospective and existing students in choosing suitable courses and career paths. The counselor will support admissions, provide academic guidance, and ensure a smooth student onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel students and parents about courses, programs, and career options
Handle student inquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and emails
Support the admission process and ensure proper documentation
Follow up with prospective students and maintain lead records
Coordinate with faculty and academic teams for student progress
Address student concerns and provide academic support guidance
Maintain accurate student data and counseling reports
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education/Management preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to counsel, convince, and guide students professionally
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools preferred)
Good organizational and follow-up skills
Preferred Skills:
1 Year Experience in academic counseling or educational sales
Knowledge of admission procedures and course structures
Multilingual communication skills
