Job Description

The Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding students in choosing the right courses and career paths, assisting them with admission procedures, and ensuring a positive counseling experience that aligns with the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students regarding educational programs, admission processes, and career opportunities. Handle inquiries via phone calls, walk-ins, and online leads. Understand student needs and recommend suitable courses or programs. Follow up with potential students to ensure successful enrollment. Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM or database. Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams for seminar participation and event support. Meet and exceed weekly/monthly admission targets. Ensure excellent customer service and maintain a professional relationship with students and parents.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong convincing and counseling abilities. Goal-oriented and proactive attitude. Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications. Experience in the education/training sector preferred.
