Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents on higher education programs (UG, PG, Diploma, Online & Distance Learning).
Provide accurate information about courses, eligibility, admission procedures, fees, and career prospects.
Explain and ensure compliance with
UGC, AICTE
, and other relevant regulatory norms.
Guide students in selecting institutions and programs aligned with their academic and career goals.
Handle inbound and outbound counselling calls, emails, and walk-ins.
Maintain student data and follow-ups using CRM tools.
Coordinate with admissions, academic, and operations teams.
Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and promotional activities.
Achieve individual and team enrolment targets while maintaining high counselling quality.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
UGC & AICTE guidelines
for higher education.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Student counselling and relationship management skills.
Ability to understand academic backgrounds and career aspirations.
Target-oriented with a consultative sales approach.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
Graduate / Postgraduate (Education, Management, or related field preferred).
Experience:
1-5 years of experience in academic counselling, admissions, or education consulting.
Only Experience in higher education institutions companies preferred.
