About the Role

MUIT-Noida is seeking a motivated and approachable Junior Counsellor to support students

and parents in understanding academic programs and career pathways. The ideal candidate

will assist the admissions team, handle enquiries, and help ensure a smooth student

onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

? Guide students and parents with preliminary information on university programs,

eligibility, and career options.

? Handle walk-in enquiries, phone calls, and online leads in a professional manner.

? Provide accurate details on courses, fee structure, scholarships, and admission

processes.

? Assist in following up with prospective students to improve engagement and

conversions.

? Maintain enquiry logs, lead records, and admission updates using CRM or internal

software.

? Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams for efficient student onboarding.

? Support university events such as counselling sessions, seminars, and education fairs.

? Work towards achieving monthly admission and follow-up targets.

Requirements

? Bachelor's Degree in any stream.

? 1-3 years of experience in academic counselling, student support, or education sales

(freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply, if preferred).

? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

? Polished, confident, and student-friendly attitude.

? Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.

? Proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred Candidate Profile

? Experience in admission counselling, career counselling, or education consulting.

? Good presentation and follow-up skills.

? Goal-oriented, active learner, and adaptable personality.
