Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting our educational programs to achieve enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students on academic programs, course selections, and career opportunities. Handle inquiries from walk-ins, calls, emails, and social media leads. Understand student needs and provide personalized guidance to help them choose suitable programs. Assist in admissions processes, including registration, documentation, and follow-ups. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-up activities. Provide information about curriculum, eligibility, fees, scholarship options, and career outcomes. Conduct orientation sessions, webinars, and academic guidance workshops when required. Collaborate with academic and admission teams to ensure a smooth enrollment experience. Meet weekly/monthly counseling and conversion targets. Build strong rapport with students and parents to support their educational decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline; education or psychology background is a plus. 0-2 years of experience in academic counseling, customer service, or education sector. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong listening skills and the ability to understand student needs. Good organizational and follow-up abilities. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms. Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.

Pay: ?13,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
