Job Overview:

As an Academic Counsellor, you will be the first point of contact for students seeking information about our courses. Your role includes understanding their needs, recommending suitable programs, supporting them through the admissions process, and ensuring they have a positive experience from inquiry to enrolment. You will also collaborate with the academic and sales teams to achieve monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional counselling to students via phone, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins Explain course details, curriculum, fee structure, and career outcomes clearly Assist students in selecting the right program based on their interests and goals Handle incoming inquiries and maintain consistent follow-up communication Guide students through the enrolment and documentation process Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and conversions Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets Participate in student orientation sessions, events, and promotional activities Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth student experience Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly and supportive approach

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confidence in handling student queries and objections Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM usage preferred) Prior experience in counselling, admissions, or customer-facing roles is an advantage Freshers with good communication skills can also apply
