The Academic Counselor provides comprehensive academic advising to undergraduate students, helping them to develop and achieve their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the college's curriculum and requirements, as well as experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group academic advising to undergraduate students Assist students in selecting courses, planning their academic programs, and meeting graduation requirements Identify and address academic concerns, such as procrastination, test anxiety, and learning disabilities Facilitate communication between students, faculty, and staff Provide support and guidance to students facing academic challenges Participate in professional development activities

Qualifications:

6 Month to 1 years of experience in academic advising Strong understanding of the college's curriculum and requirements Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
