Role Overview
As an
Academic Counsellor
at UNext Learning, you will be at the forefront of student support, guiding them through their educational journey from course selection to program completion. Whether you're a fresh graduate or have sales experience, this role will allow you to develop valuable skills while helping students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Student Guidance:
Provide personalized counseling to students, helping them choose the right courses and navigate their academic paths.
Admissions Support:
Assist students with the admission process, answering queries, providing information about programs, and guiding them through necessary documentation.
Lead Conversion:
For candidates with sales experience, use your sales skills to engage potential students, follow up on leads, and convert them into successful enrollments.
Responding to Queries:
Address academic, administrative, and logistical queries via calls, emails, or chats.
Progress Tracking:
Monitor students' academic progress and ensure timely completion of assignments, exams, and projects.
Proactive Engagement:
Make outbound calls to provide updates on course progress, and help students with any concerns or needs.
Relationship Building:
Foster strong relationships with students to ensure a positive and supportive experience throughout their academic journey.
Internal & External Interactions
Internal:
Collaborate closely with the academic team, student support, and administrative departments.
External:
Directly interact with students, offering guidance and support through their learning experience.
Skills & Qualifications
Education:
Only graduates (any stream) are eligible to apply.
Experience:
Fresher:
No prior experience needed, full training provided.
Experience:
Up to 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer support, or related fields is preferred.
Language Proficiency:
Must be fluent in both
English
and
Hindi
(written and verbal).
Key Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy and the ability to understand and resolve students' concerns.
Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
For candidates with sales experience, prior knowledge of lead generation and conversion will be an advantage.
Attributes:
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of student interactions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
