Job Description

As an Academic Counselor, you will play a crucial role in helping students make informed decisions about their education. You will provide guidance and support to students by assessing their academic strengths and weaknesses, helping them set realistic goals, and providing resources and information about available educational programs and opportunities. Additionally, you will also help students navigate through any challenges they may face during their academic journey.

Responsibilities

Assess students' academic strengths, weaknesses, and interests to determine their educational goals Provide guidance and support to students in developing realistic academic plans Help students explore and understand available educational programs and career opportunities Assist students in selecting appropriate courses and extracurricular activities Monitor students' academic progress and provide intervention when necessary Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure students' academic success Provide support and guidance to students facing challenges in their academic journey Stay up to date with educational trends and resources to provide accurate and relevant information to students
