Job Overview:
As an
Admission Counsellor
, you will be the first point of contact for students and parents, helping them understand the various
undergraduate and postgraduate programs
we offer. Your role involves
counselling, follow-ups, and converting potential leads into enrolments
.
Key Responsibilities:

Student Counselling & Guidance:
Understand students' educational background, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable UG & PG programs.
Provide accurate information about courses, universities, eligibility criteria, admission processes, and fee structures.
Assist students in the application process and required documentation.

Lead Management & Follow-Ups:
Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails for student inquiries.
Maintain a structured follow-up system to engage with prospective students and ensure conversions.
Work closely with the marketing team to nurture leads from various sources like Google Ads, social media, and Sulekha.
Work closely with the social media team to Create the informative or academic videos as a face value for social media platforms.

Sales & Admissions Closure:
Convert potential leads into enrolments by building trust and addressing concerns. Achieve the assigned target and number of admissions
Meet or exceed monthly admission targets.
Maintain strong relationships with students and parents to encourage referrals.

CRM & Reporting:
Update and maintain student records in the CRM system.
Track lead status and conversion rates and provide reports to the senior team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Background:
Bachelor's / Master degree in any field (preferred: Sales, Marketing, or Education-related).
?
Experience:
Those having 03 years' experience in academic counselling or Edtech industry can apply.
Fresher interested to grow their career in admission counselling in EdTech are highly preferred. (Those having exp. of 0-6 months in Edtech industry can apply).

Communication & Persuasion:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a confident and persuasive approach.

Tech Savvy:
Comfortable using Google Sheets.
?
Target-Oriented:
Ability to meet sales targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
?
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English and Hindi (other regional languages are a plus).
