About Medhavi Skills University:

Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. As a pioneering institution in the convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education, MSU aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020). Recognized by the UGC and established in 2021, MSU collaborates with industries and Skill Development Institutes to offer work-integrated courses, embedding on-the-job internships and training within the curriculum. About MSU WISE:

Medhavi Skills University (MSU) has launched the WISE initiative to enhance employability and support job creation by equipping individuals with industry-relevant theoretical knowledge and on the-job training. This initiative fosters collaborative efforts between MSU and various industries,
creating a mutually beneficial relationship. Through the concept of "Industry as Campus," students gain a competitive edge by acquiring practical skills directly from industry experts. For industries, this partnership results in better employee retention, reduced attrition rates, and increased productivity. Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand the Manufacturing/Automobile unit's system, ITI, Diploma and Degree programs 'curriculum and content. Develop content as per curriculum details in the form of Presentations with Scripts of eBooks Prepare lesson plans to effectively deliver the learning in an interesting and engaging manner Perform online classes through LMS. Communicate with students during their study period and answer their questions. Scheduling and conducting online classes through learning management system Monitor students' progress through LMS and send weekly report. Initiate or support to organize tech event, seminars, workshop for the old and new students. Ensure data backup and maintain data integrity. Work collaboratively with University HO team, the Industry Stakeholders as well as Staffing Partner SPOCs Creation of PowerPoint presentations, student workbooks and logbooks based on curated materials. Development of learner-friendly videos and/or interactive e-learning materials based on raw content received from SMEs Manage the University Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technology platforms and ensure seamless integration of the academic aspects with the online platforms Any other work as relevant to the Department of Academics of the University as delegated by the University management from time to time

Qualifications:

B.Tech/BE (Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics) with minimum 2 years of Manufacturing industry experience and 2 years of teaching experience in technical domain Adept at MSOffice Word and PowerPoint. Comfortable with Basic MS Excel Readiness to learn and take on additional responsibility, when required Good interpersonal skills Attention to Detail and Time Management Abilities Ready to travel
