Job Description

We are looking for an Academic Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring effective teaching-learning processes, compliance with CBSE norms, staff management, and creating a positive school culture that fosters holistic student development.

Location: Ottiambakam, Chennai

Note: Transportation facilities are provided within a "12 km" radius of the school.

- Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership

- Ensure implementation of CBSE curriculum, policies, and guidelines.

- Promote innovative teaching-learning methods, digital integration, and continuous assessment.

- Monitor lesson plans, classroom transactions, and quality of education across all grades.

Administrative & Operational Management

- Oversee day-to-day school operations including admissions, examinations, discipline, and facilities.

- Ensure compliance with CBSE affiliation requirements, audits, and statutory regulations.

- Develop school policies and SOPs in alignment with CBSE and institutional vision.

Student Development & Well-being

- Ensure safety, discipline, and overall well-being of students.

- Promote co-curricular, cultural, and sports activities to encourage holistic growth.

- Address student grievances and guide counsellors to support student needs.

Parent & Community Engagement

- Act as a bridge between management, staff, students, and parents.

- Organize parent-teacher meetings, feedback forums, and community outreach.

- Represent the school in academic and cultural forums.

- Key Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Deep understanding of CBSE norms, policies, and procedure.

Ability to manage conflict and drive positive school culture.

- Educational Qualifications:

PG

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

- Experience:

Minimum 10 - 15 years of teaching experience, including at least 5 years in an administrative/leadership role.

Prior experience in a CBSE school is highly preferred.
