Job Description

We Frontier Lifeline Hospital, Mogappair, ( a super specialty Hospital for cardiology and cardio thoracic surgery) looking for an ACADEMIC COORDINATOR (FEMALE) for our Academic Institute running para medical courses like 4 year Physician Assistant course, Anasthesia technology, Perfusionist, etc.

The primary job responsibilities for the ACADEMIC COORDINATOR (FEMALE) goes like this:-

Academic Teaching (Core Subjects)

Deliver lectures and practical training in subjects related to Cardiac Technology, Anaesthesia Technology, and Physician Assistant programs. Develop teaching plans, presentations, and curriculum-aligned lesson content.

Curriculum Planning & Development

Coordinate with affiliating universities/boards to ensure syllabus compliance and integration of latest clinical trends into the curriculum. Lead curriculum review and suggest updates as per industry standards.

Academic Administration

Oversee daily operations of the academic wing including timetables, student records, examinations, and attendance tracking. Ensure smooth functioning of academic calendars and student progression tracking.

Liaison with Clinical Departments

Coordinate student clinical postings with Cardiology, Anaesthesia, ICU, and Cath Lab departments. Monitor on-the-job training (OJT), clinical logs, and performance evaluations.

Faculty Management & Mentorship

Guide and supervise other teaching faculty, part-time trainers, and guest lecturers. Organize faculty meetings, skill enhancement workshops, and teaching reviews.

Regulatory & Affiliation Compliance

Ensure academic compliance with guidelines from university affiliates, statutory councils (like Allied Health Sciences Boards), and accrediting bodies. Prepare documentation and reports for inspections and audits.

Student Counseling & Support

Act as a mentor for academic, career, and personal concerns of students. Address grievances, promote discipline, and encourage academic excellence.

Admission & Promotion Support

Assist the management with academic orientation sessions, entrance evaluations, and promotional activities for new admissions. Represent the institute at career fairs, medical education expos, and seminars.

Research & Academic Enrichment

Encourage student research, minor projects, and presentations. Collaborate with hospital departments for academic-industry integration and knowledge updates.

Event & Examination Coordination

Organize and coordinate internal assessments, university examinations, viva voce, and practical evaluations. Plan academic events such as CME sessions, workshops, and annual days.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
