Job Title: Academic Coordinator

Location: ISBR Business School, Bangalore, India

Job Summary:

The Academic Coordinator at ISBR Business School plays a key role in facilitating the smooth operation of academic programs and supporting the academic staff in delivering high-quality education. This position requires a dynamic individual with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Planning and Coordination:

- Collaborate with academic department heads and faculty members to develop and implement academic schedules, timetables, and course offerings in accordance with curriculum requirements and academic regulations.

- Coordinate the scheduling of classes, examinations, and academic events, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and facilities.

- Assist in the development and review of academic policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance the quality and efficiency of academic operations.

2. Student Support and Advising:

- Provide academic guidance and support to students, assisting them in course selection, academic planning, and goal setting.

- Serve as a point of contact for student inquiries, concerns, and academic-related issues, offering timely assistance and referrals to appropriate resources.

- Monitor student academic progress, identify at-risk students, and implement interventions to support their success and retention.

3. Faculty Coordination and Development:

- Facilitate communication and collaboration among faculty members, academic departments, and administrative units to ensure alignment of academic goals and priorities.

- Coordinate faculty assignments, workload distribution, and teaching schedules, taking into account faculty expertise, availability, and student needs.

- Organize faculty development workshops, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance teaching effectiveness, pedagogical innovation, and academic excellence.

4. Curriculum Management and Review:

- Assist in the review and revision of academic curricula, course syllabi, and learning materials to ensure relevance, currency, and alignment with program objectives and industry standards.

- Coordinate the assessment and evaluation of academic programs and courses, collecting feedback from stakeholders, analyzing data, and implementing improvements as needed.

- Support accreditation and quality assurance processes by compiling documentation, preparing reports, and facilitating external reviews and audits.

5. Administrative Support and Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of academic activities, including student enrollment, attendance, grades, and academic achievements.

- Prepare academic reports, statistical analyses, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.

- Assist in the preparation of academic budgets, resource allocation plans, and procurement requests, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and financial regulations.

6 Creation of Time table and maintaining attendance.

7 Act as middle person between students and faculties.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
