Overview

The role of an Academic Coordinator is essentially to build and maintain a successful academic program by providing an educational atmosphere conducive to learning and development through the process of inquiry.

Responsibilities

Guide and support teachers in designing, preparing, and delivering lessons in line with the school's learning methodology.
Assess and monitor the progress of learners and academic programs, and set goals for improvement.
Liaise with teachers and school leadership to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
Manage clear and precise parent interaction when required.
Coordinate extra?curricular activities and support school events, assemblies, staff trainings, meetings etc.
Promote the health and safety of assigned classes and ensure smooth academic functioning.

Skills Description

Be a passionate educator with the ability to guide inquiry?based learning across grade levels.
Be able to develop and support a stimulating, challenging, and well?organized learning environment.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Qualified teacher status with prior experience in teaching and academic supervision.
Received training focused on curriculum planning, instructional strategies, and inquiry?based learning.
