Job Summary:


The Academic Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising academic activities to ensure smooth implementation of the curriculum, compliance with academic policies, and achievement of institutional goals. The role requires strong coordination skills between faculty, students, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:



Academic Planning & Implementation

Assist in preparation and execution of academic calendars, timetables, and schedules. Ensure curriculum delivery as per institutional and regulatory guidelines. Coordinate with faculty for lesson planning, syllabus completion, and teaching methodologies.

Faculty Coordination

Support faculty recruitment, induction, and orientation programs. Monitor faculty performance, attendance, and adherence to academic standards. Organize faculty development programs, training, and workshops.

Student Support

Oversee student attendance, discipline, and academic progress. Address student grievances related to academics in coordination with faculty and administration. Organize mentoring, counseling, and remedial classes.

Examinations & Assessments

Plan and supervise internal assessments, examinations, and evaluation processes. Ensure timely results processing and reporting. Maintain examination confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

Quality Assurance

Ensure adherence to UGC/AICTE/University/Board norms. Monitor teaching-learning outcomes and maintain academic records. Assist in accreditation, inspections, and audits (NAAC, NBA, etc.).

Communication & Coordination

Act as a bridge between management, faculty, students, and parents. Conduct academic review meetings and prepare reports for management. Coordinate academic events such as seminars, workshops, and guest lectures.

Required Qualifications & Skills:



Master's degree in Education/Management/Relevant Subject (Ph.D. preferred for higher education). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in academic coordination or teaching. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and digital learning tools. Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
