About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Academic Content Editor & Publishing Executive

with a strong background in

school-level Maths and Science content (up to Class 12)

. The candidate must have prior experience in

book publishing

and be capable of handling content editing, structuring, proofreading, and publishing workflows.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Editing & Development

Edit, review, and refine academic content for

Maths and Science (Class 6-12)

. Ensure conceptual accuracy, syllabus alignment, and clarity. Improve explanations, examples, exercises, and assessments. Check step-by-step solutions and scientific accuracy in content.

Publishing & Production

Coordinate manuscript formatting and layout with the publishing team. Review page layouts, typeset files, and final proofs before printing. Maintain version control and ensure error-free final output. Work closely with designers/typesetters to produce high-quality books.

Quality Assurance

Conduct detailed proofreading for grammar, consistency, and visual accuracy. Ensure adherence to publishing standards and timelines. Cross-check diagrams, equations, and charts for correctness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in

Science, Mathematics, Education

, or related fields.

Prior experience in book publishing is mandatory.

Strong subject knowledge of

Maths and Science (Classes 6-12)

. Excellent editing, proofreading, and content structuring skills. Familiarity with publishing workflows and tools (InDesign knowledge is an advantage). Strong communication and coordination abilities.
