Academic Affairs and Programme Officer - (Village & District Initiative)

Location : Kovvali Village, Eluru , West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh State

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-oriented Academic Affairs and Programme Officer to lead and transform our institution. This pivotal role involves comprehensive oversight of the School and Intermediate College sections, protecting our charitable interests, and delivering exceptional outcomes in academic excellence, competitive exam success, vocational readiness, and holistic student development within a village setting.

I. Position Summary and Oversight



The Strategic Educational Officer will be the institutional head, responsible for all academic, administrative, and strategic operations. While the responsibilities align with those of a comparable, the title reflects the necessity of

protecting the charitable interests

of the project through judicious resource management, ethical operations, and strategic leadership. The successful candidate must have

prior experience in a

comparable senior educational leadership role.

This can be a

full-time or part-time

position, depending on the candidate's experience and capacity to meet the project's time-bound goals and resource constraints.

II. Key Responsibilities



A. Academic Excellence and Competitive Success (The Transformation Mandate)



Competitive Exam Focus:

Develop and embed a high-performance culture focused on achieving

top ranks and admissions into elite institutions

such as

IITs, Medical Colleges, and IAS/Civil Services

examinations.

Mentorship and Motivation:

Act as a

motivator, counsellor, and mentor

for students. Inspire and guide students toward high aspirations and competitive success.

Digital Integration:

Champion the use of

websites, digital tutorials, and online classes

to help students deeply understand basic principles and concepts in

Mathematics, Biological Sciences, and other core subjects

, ensuring a strong foundation.

Curriculum Design:

Lead the design and continuous refinement of the curriculum. This must include:

Vedic Mathematics:

Start Vedic Mathematical classes and exposure from lower classes

to enhance calculation speed and conceptual understanding.

Holistic Well-being:

Ensure

equal importance on Physical/Mental well-being

and robust

extra-curricular activities

.

B. Staff Management and Development



Recruitment and Assessment: Strategically recruit, interview, and assess capable and passionate teachers who demonstrate a strong commitment to student success.

Performance Management: Evaluate teacher performance regularly, providing constructive feedback, professional development opportunities, and mentorship to ensure a high standard of instruction.

Team Building: Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment among all staff members.


C. Leadership, Administration, and Charitable Oversight



Protecting Charitable Interests:

Ensure the ethical, transparent, and

judicious use of limited resources

provided under the long-running project. Maintain the integrity of the institution as a charitable endeavor.

Staff Management:

Strategically

recruit and assess capable, passionate teachers

. Set clear goals and provide professional development.

Infrastructure:

Plan, organize, and oversee infrastructure requirements (labs, etc.), ensuring effective resource allocation.

Growth and Retention:

Develop and execute strategies to

draw students, retain them for higher classes, and achieve significantly low dropout rates.


D. Logistics



Candidates must be willing to

travel regularly

to the village location or be

stationed in the District Headquarters

to ensure effective oversight and on-site leadership.

III. Qualifications and Requirements



Experience:

Mandatory

prior experience in a

comparable senior educational leadership role is essential.

Educational Acumen:

Strong working knowledge of the demands of

competitive entrance examinations (JEE, NEET, UPSC, etc.)

and proven ability to build programs that yield results with relevant advanced degree in Education or a related field is highly preferred.

Mindset:

A results-driven motivator and visionary leader with a commitment to uplifting education in a rural setting.

Resourcefulness:

Demonstrated ability to manage projects and resources effectively under constraints.
