About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Academic Advisor to join our post-sales team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our learners after they have enrolled in a course.
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure a smooth and successful learning journey for each student, provide guidance on their academic progress, and proactively work on student retention.
This position is perfect for someone with a strong customer service background and a knack for building long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for students post-enrollment, addressing their academic and technical queries.
Proactively reach out to students to check on their progress, provide motivation, and help them overcome any challenges they face.
Monitor student engagement and performance to identify at-risk learners and implement retention strategies.
Upsell and cross-sell additional courses, certifications, or services to existing learners based on their academic and career goals.
Collect and analyze student feedback to help improve course content and the overall learning experience.
Work closely with the admissions and faculty teams to resolve student issues promptly and effectively.
Maintain detailed records of all student interactions and progress in the CRM system.
Contribute to a positive and supportive community for all our learners.
About You
You hold a Master's degree in a relevant field (MBA, MA, MCA, M.Tech).
You have a minimum of 6 months of mandatory experience in a customer service role with a focus on upselling and retention.
You possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
You have a strong ability to build rapport and trust with students from diverse backgrounds.
You are highly organized, proactive, and have a problem-solving mindset.
You are comfortable with meeting targets for retention and upselling.
You are proficient in using CRM software.
You are based in Bangalore and can commute to our MG Road office.
