Position Summary

We are looking for a

dynamic and experienced Academic Advisor

to join our team in Thrissur. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in the

study abroad sector

, with a good understanding of

admission procedures, visa processing, course selection, and international university systems

. You will be responsible for guiding students through the

entire admission lifecycle

- from first counselling to final enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide

comprehensive counseling

to students and parents about study abroad opportunities in countries like the UK, Canada, USA, Australia, and Europe. Assess students' academic and financial backgrounds and recommend appropriate programs and universities based on their profile and career goals.

Manage student profiles

from start to finish - application, documentation, SOP guidance, follow-ups, visa documentation, and final enrollment. Guide students on country-specific requirements such as

intakes, application deadlines, visa rules, IELTS/MOI/English criteria

, etc. Stay updated with international education trends, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities. Coordinate with partner universities and representatives to ensure smooth communication and application tracking. Maintain a clear and accurate database of student interactions and application status. Ensure a

high standard of English communication

- both written and verbal - in all client and university communications. Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and support walk-in inquiries and online leads.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Minimum

1 year of experience

in study abroad counseling or education consultancy. Thorough knowledge of

application and visa procedures

of at least two major study destinations (UK, Canada, USA, etc.). Strong ability to

multitask

, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and parents. Fluency in

English and Malayalam

is essential. Candidates from

Thrissur or nearby locations

preferred. Willingness to relocate is acceptable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, CRM tools, and email communication.
