Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and student-focused

Academic Counselor

to guide and support students through the admission process, course selection, and academic planning. The role involves handling inquiries, providing course information, converting leads into admissions, and ensuring a smooth learning experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle

student inquiries

via calls, emails, and walk-ins and provide accurate course details. Counsel students on

programs, career prospects, and academic pathways

. Follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns and convert them into admissions. Maintain

student records, admission data, and follow-up reports

using CRM or Excel. Coordinate with academic and placement teams for student onboarding and progress tracking. Ensure

high levels of student satisfaction

by resolving queries promptly. Achieve

weekly and monthly admission targets

. Participate in

seminars, events, and career counseling sessions

organized by the institution.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong

communication and interpersonal skills

. Excellent

presentation and counseling abilities

. Good knowledge of

educational programs, career trends, and learning outcomes

. Proficiency in

MS Office, Google Sheets, or CRM tools

. Target-oriented and capable of handling pressure professionally.
