We are seeking a proactive and skilled AC Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems across various properties. Duties

Install, inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct routine preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; perform equipment repairs with precision. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems and refrigeration units; handle ammonia refrigeration systems safely and effectively. Utilize field service techniques to respond promptly to service calls; document all work performed thoroughly. Operate a driver vehicle safely for transportation of tools or equipment as needed. Collaborate with property management teams on property maintenance projects involving HVAC/R systems. Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities; ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance. Proven service technician experience in HVAC/R or related fields such as appliance repair or property maintenance. Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications; familiarity with ammonia refrigeration is a plus. Experience working with refrigeration systems including commercial refrigeration units. Skilled in using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters; capable of welding and performing equipment repairs. Excellent field service skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Mechanical aptitude combined with experience in boiler operation or mechanic work is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transportation duties.
