Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Install new air conditioning systems and associated components in various settings.
Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on AC units to ensure they operate efficiently, including cleaning coils and replacing filters.
Repair:
Diagnose and repair system malfunctions by identifying and replacing defective parts like compressors, fans, or thermostats.
System Inspection:
Inspect AC systems and components to identify issues such as refrigerant leaks, dirty coils, or other problems affecting performance.
Customer Service:
Interact with clients to discuss system malfunctions, explain repairs, provide advice on usage, and address their concerns.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and industry standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Training:
Completion of an accredited HVAC or apprentice training program.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications, such as the EPA 608 certification, are often required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in diagnosing system issues, repairing components, and understanding electrical systems related to HVAC.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and customer service abilities.
Physical Abilities:
Ability to perform manual tasks, lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and work in extreme temperatures.
Tools & Equipment:
