AC Mechanic
in the department of
Maintenance
with a
minimum of 2 years of experience
to ensure uninterrupted, safe, and efficient operation of all air-conditioning and ventilation systems in the hospital, maintaining optimal temperature, humidity, and air quality to support patient care, clinical procedures, and staff comfort.
Immediate joiners are preferred
Qualifications:
Education:
Degree/ITI / Diploma in AC Technician
Experience:
2 -5 years preferably in healthcare
Hands-on experience with AC and ventilation systems
Key Skills & Competencies:
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Time management and ability to prioritize critical areas
Flexibility to work in shifts and emergencies
Knowledge of temperature, humidity, and air-flow control required in hospital environments
Good communication & coordination skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of AC system
Ensure continuous functioning of AC systems in critical areas such as Operation Theatres, ICUs, NICUs, labs, pharmacies, and patient rooms
Attend breakdown calls promptly and minimize downtime
Maintain service records, logbooks, and maintenance checklists
Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule to minimize breakdowns
Follow hospital safety, infection control, and statutory guidelines
