The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing email campaigns, managing subscriber lists, and optimizing outreach strategies to enhance engagement and lead generation.Roles and Responsibilities of an Email Marketing Specialist:An Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing email campaigns to enhance customer engagement, generate leads, and drive conversions.Key Responsibilities:- Email Campaign Strategy & Planning Develop and implement effective email marketing strategies, segment email lists, and create personalized campaigns.- Content Creation & Design Craft compelling email copy with clear CTAs, design visually appealing templates, and optimize for mobile and desktop.- Email List Management Build, maintain, and segment subscriber lists while ensuring data accuracy and deliverability.- Campaign Execution & Automation Schedule marketing emails, implement automated workflows (welcome emails, drip campaigns), and personalize communication.- Performance Tracking & Optimization Monitor key KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversions), conduct A/B testing, and optimize campaigns based on data insights.- Compliance & Best Practices Ensure adherence to GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act, and industry standards to maintain email deliverability and user privacy.- Cross-Team Collaboration Work with content writers, designers, and marketing teams to align email strategies with business goals.- Lead Nurturing & Engagement Develop email sequences, engage audiences through surveys and re-engagement campaigns, and provide valuable content.Required Skills:- Strong copywriting & content creation- Proficiency in email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email design- Data analysis & A/B testing- Customer segmentation & targeting expertise- Understanding of email compliance regulations (ref:updazz.com)
