You will be working ABB Way FTP - P2D Global CO-PA and COGS Expert will be reporting to Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and will be a part of GBS located in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be primarily responsible for driving reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget and forecasts via supporting key business partners and other stakeholders at various levels or within center of expertise, in decision making processes and drive business goals

Your responsibilities

• P2D global expert and deployment lead on SAP FI and CO modules, profitability processes (product costing, cost allocation methodologies, result analysis design and process) and Cost of Goods Sold reporting
• Supporting the design and implementing the solution in SAP S/4 according to best practices and global process designing
• Translating business requirements into functional and data specificities and assess the impact from the point of view of adoption of the global design
• Creating awareness through effective communication and establish collaboration across stakeholders, targeting a high level of harmonization and standardization across ABB
• Acting as the catalyst in conjunction with change management and learning experts to design the training modules and communication plan for ensuring continuous business engagement
• Supporting the "adapt to standard" process workshops for CO-PA with different stakeholders to ensure engagement and alignment across business and countries during deployment phase
• Supporting implementation of the new Top-Down Distribution (TDD) in CFIN/COPA to enrich margin and profitability data

Your background

• Degree in Finance or related areas (e.g., business or economics). IT or business information systems
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in finance & controlling, including FP&A function of a Global organization or Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)/ Finance Consultancy, 'Big 4' firm is also appreciated
• Process in-depth knowledge of accounting and the following Finance and Controlling functions including Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA) Internal Orders (IO)
• Excellent finance knowledge around performance management processes (and related design) such as group reporting, consolidation, forecasting and planning, management reporting. SAP FI/CO and SAP BW experience and knowledge is required
• Should possess good communication skills
