Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior ABAP Consultant

with

7 to 8 years of experience

in SAP ABAP development, including at least

3 full-cycle SAP implementations

. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in

SAP integration with third-party applications

, along with a deep understanding of SAP modules and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using

ABAP, ABAP OO, and other related technologies

. Lead the

technical design and development

of custom solutions to meet business requirements. Work closely with

functional consultants and business users

to analyze and translate requirements into technical solutions. Develop and support

interfaces between SAP and third-party applications

using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs. Optimize and debug existing ABAP programs to improve system performance and reliability. Develop and implement

SAP enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and BTEs

as needed. Ensure best practices and coding standards are followed for

scalability, maintainability, and performance

. Participate in

unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

. Stay up to date with

SAP technology advancements

and recommend innovations where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience:

7 to 8 years

of experience in

SAP ABAP development

. Minimum

3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects

experience. Strong expertise in

ABAP, ABAP Objects (ABAP OO), ALV, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms

. Hands-on experience with

SAP integration

using

IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and REST/SOAP Web Services

. Experience with

ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, and performance tuning)

is preferred. Good knowledge of

SAP Workflow, Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, BTEs), and BDCs

. Experience with

Fiori/UI5 development

is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and debug complex issues. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. SAP certification in ABAP or related fields is a plus.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science

, Information Technology, or related field. * SAP certification (optional but preferred).
