Key Responsibilities:
Teach abacus concepts, mental arithmetic techniques, and speed calculation to primary students.
Conduct engaging practice sessions using beads, worksheets, flashcards, and speed drills.
Track each child's progress and provide individual support where required.
Prepare class plans, activity sheets, and weekly practice assignments.
Maintain discipline, ensure active participation, and make learning fun.
Communicate progress updates to parents and coordinate during assessments.
Organize competitions, revision sessions, and demonstrations for students.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduation in any stream (preferred).
Certification in Abacus training from a recognized institute.
Good communication and numerical skills.
1-2 years of teaching Abacus to primary students (preferred).
Prior teaching or tutoring experience with young children is an advantage.
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of abacus techniques and mental math.
Patience and ability to work with young children.
Clear communication and explanation skills.
Ability to conduct engaging, activity-based learning.
Good classroom management and discipline handling.
