Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Cybersecurity Test Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cybersecurity testing for automotive ECUs, vehicle networks, and connected systems. You will work closely with cybersecurity architects, developers, and validation teams to ensure the secure design and deployment of automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:


Plan, design, and execute cybersecurity testing activities for Electronic Control Units (ECUs), vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), and connected systems. Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security verification activities based on TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment) frameworks.

Conduct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and fuzz testing on automotive components including telematics units, gateways, infotainment systems, and ADAS modules.

Analyze testing results, identify potential vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

Develop and automate test cases, test scripts, and validation procedures for cybersecurity assessments.

Collaborate closely with cybersecurity architects, developers, and validation teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are properly verified and validated.

Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations of cybersecurity test findings for internal stakeholders and customers.

o Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards such as ISO/SAE 21434, AUTOSAR CP/AP Security, and OEM-specific cybersecurity guidelines. o Support homologation and regulatory certification processes, including UNECE WP.29 R155 and R156 compliance activities.

Required Qualifications:


o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field o Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive cybersecurity testing. o Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay). o Expertise in cybersecurity threat modeling, risk assessments (TARA), vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing. o Familiarity with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, penetration testing tools, fuzz testing frameworks, and scripting (Python, CAPL). o Good understanding of automotive standards and regulations including ISO/SAE 21434, AUTOSAR Security, UNECE WP.29 R155/R156. o Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and technical documentation skills. o Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
