We at Meclusions are looking for 1 to 3 years experienced (Freshers may also apply) 3D Generalist to carry out various 3D Tasks for our ongoing vfx and animation projects.

. We need a skilled artist who is comfortable with every stage of the 3D pipeline and can produce high-quality work with remarkable efficiency.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering complete shots or sequences, working on everything from initial modeling to final lighting and rendering. Your ability to jump between disciplines will be crucial in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and flexibility are key. Responsibilities

Create and prepare 3D models of characters, props, and environments, ensuring clean topology and efficient UV layouts. Develop and apply materials and textures to assets using a PBR (Physically Based Rendering) workflow. Set up lighting and cinematic cameras to achieve the desired mood and visual style in Unreal Engine. Rig and animate characters and props to bring them to life, demonstrating a strong understanding of timing and weight. Work collaboratively with the director and technical director to ensure assets and shots meet both artistic and technical specifications. Utilize AI-assisted tools and procedural workflows to accelerate asset creation and rendering.
We are only looking for Mumbai Based artist, Others who fall from other than Mumbai area must avoid applying, untill you are planning to shift to Mumbai.

Blender + AI combo will be the most preferred by Team Meclusions

Nature of Work:

The work of a 3D Generalist on our team is defined by its breadth. You are not just a cog in the machine; you are a complete production unit, capable of handling entire shots from start to finish.

Holistic Production:

You will be given a sequence or group of shots and be responsible for every step. This could mean modeling a character, animating their performance, and then lighting and rendering the final scene in Unreal Engine. This end-to-end responsibility gives you full creative ownership.

Artistic & Technical Balance:

You must be proficient in both the artistic and technical aspects of 3D. While your models and animations must be visually compelling, they must also be technically sound and optimized for our pipeline. You will constantly be balancing aesthetics with efficiency.

Rapid Iteration:

Our pipeline is built for speed. You will be expected to use Unreal Engine to quickly iterate on lighting, camera angles, and animations without the traditional long render times. This allows for more creative freedom and a faster approval process.

Learning & Adapting:

The industry is constantly changing, and so are our tools. You will need to be a constant learner, eager to adapt to new workflows and embrace technologies like AI that can improve your work.

Softwares:

Modeling & Sculpting

: Both hard-surface and organic modeling.

UV Mapping & Texturing

: Efficient unwrapping and an understanding of PBR texturing workflows.

Rigging & Animation

: Creating and animating rigs for characters and props.

Lighting & Rendering

: Understanding of Cycles and Eevee for look development.

Real-Time Workflows

: Proficiency in setting up and rendering cinematic shots using UE's tools.

Basic Lighting

: Setting up lights, reflections, and post-processing volumes.

Material Editor

: Creating and applying materials in UE.

Generative AI

: For concepting, texture generation, and even initial asset blocking.

AI for Mocap

: Using AI-powered tools for quick motion capture to block out animation.

Substance Painter

: For advanced texturing.

ZBrush

: For high-detail sculpting.

Salary

: It will be decided as per your expertise and skillset (This will be discussed on teleconic conversation or on personal interview at our studio)
