Key Responsibilities

Design

3D models of injection molds

for plastic bathroom fittings using Siemens NX. Create

detailed 2D drawings

and technical documentation for manufacturing. Work closely with the tool room and production teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs. Optimize mold designs for durability, precision, and efficient cycle time. Assist in

design modifications and improvements

based on testing and production feedback. Maintain design files, revision history, and ensure design standards are met. Collaborate with R&D team for

new product development

. Support troubleshooting of molds during trials and production.

Requirements

Diploma / B.Tech in

Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die / Production Engineering

or equivalent.

2-5 years of experience

in mold design for plastic injection molding (preferably in bathroom fittings or related industries). Strong command of

Siemens NX (Unigraphics)

for 3D & 2D mold design. Knowledge of

mold components, cooling channels, gating systems, and ejector mechanisms

. Understanding of

plastic materials, shrinkage, and mold flow basics

. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and detail orientation skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous)

Exposure to

Mold Flow Analysis software

. Knowledge of

CNC programming / CAM integration

. Hands-on exposure to

tool room operations

.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
