Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic 3D artist in Chalakudy, Kerala. The ideal candidate would be proficient in 3D, have a solid background in 3D modeling, sculpting, facial animation, lighting, UV wrapping, rendering, and demonstrate photo-realistic asset creation of real-world objects. This position requires innate design skills, digital proficiency, and a keen eye for detail. Essential skills include the ability to manage multiple projects, communicate with key stakeholders, and work with production artists across nodes. The ideal candidate will be proficient with multiple 2D and 3D software packages and have the ability to raise the bar for evaluating the quality of 3D objects.

Basic Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in art / Design or equivalent is preferred.
  
• 1-2 years of professional experience working in a fast-paced 3D production environment.
  
• A strong portfolio of previous work and completed projects.
  
• Must demonstrate an understanding of technical art production and end-to-end modeling, UV unwrapping, facial animation, texturing, and rendering.
  
• Must be very well versed in the 3D domain and its related Software. Preferably Blender, MAYA, 3ds max, Zbrush, Adobe creative suite, and Substance Painter.
  
• A strong understanding of human and animal anatomy (For characters Artist).
  
• Extensive knowledge of character design, rigging, skinning, and facial animation, etc.
  
• Excellent skills in high and low poly modeling.
  
• Excellent communications, Presentation, and Interpersonal skills.

Roles Responsibilities

• Understanding the project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas.
  
• Develop high-quality and cutting-edge 3D art.
  
• Create storyboards to visualize scenes and create a realistic environment for videos, games, and other visual effects.
  
• Create photorealistic 3D model with superior build quality and look & feel.
  
• Should know detailed modeling, sculpting, texturing, facial animation, lighting, and rendering.
  
• Create textures using substance painter.
  
• High standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity.
  
• Troubleshooting any problems that arise during work on a project.
