Role Overview

The ePlane Company is looking for a 3D Animator & Visualiser with strong creative / technical understanding and visual storytelling skills to create high-quality animations and visualisations for advanced aerospace products. This role will work closely with product design, UX, engineering, and marketing teams to translate complex aircraft systems, mechanisms, and user interactions into clear, accurate, and compelling visual content.

Key Responsibilities

Create high-quality 3D animations, still renders, and visualisations for aircraft systems, interiors, mechanisms, and use cases. Develop exploded views, cut-sections, assembly animations, and functional demonstrations. Convert CAD / Class-A / surfacing models into animation-ready assets while maintaining technical accuracy. Collaborate with industrial designers, UX designers, human factors engineers, and structural teams. Produce visual content for investor presentations, certification discussions, marketing materials, simulations, and internal design reviews. Ensure high realism in lighting, materials, textures, and camera composition aligned with ePlane's brand language. Support rapid design iterations and evolving product requirements. Manage rendering workflows and ensure consistency across different output formats.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Proficiency in 3D animation and visualization tools such as: Blender (most preferable) / Unity / Unreal / Maya Experience with render engines like Cycles, Octane, or equivalent Strong understanding of lighting, shading, materials, textures, and rendering pipelines Ability to work with CAD data (STEP, IGES, Alias, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.) Knowledge of motion design principles and animation fundamentals Experience with post-production tools (After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or equivalent)

Design & Visualization Skills

Strong sense of form, proportion, realism, and spatial clarity Ability to visually communicate complex aerospace and mechanical systems Understanding of product design intent, engineering constraints, and manufacturing logic High attention to detail and visual quality.

Experience Requirements

4+ years of professional experience in 3D animation and visualization Prior experience in aerospace, automotive, EV, industrial, or high-tech products is a strong plus A strong portfolio demonstrating animations, renders, and technical storytelling

Soft Skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced product development environment Strong collaboration and communication skills Comfortable receiving feedback and iterating quickly High ownership, accountability, and time management skills

Good to Have (Bonus)

Experience with aircraft interiors, cockpits, or human-machine interfaces Exposure to AR/VR or simulation workflows Basic understanding of UX or human factors principles
