Responsibilities
Create
storyboards
from scripts and creative briefs
Develop
animatics
to define timing, pacing, and visual flow
Design
2D characters
(poses, expressions, turnarounds)
Create
2D backgrounds and environments
for animated scenes
Collaborate closely with animators, motion designers, and creative leads
Ensure visual consistency across characters, backgrounds, and scenes
Prepare clean, organized design files for animation workflows
Revise designs, storyboards, and animatics based on feedback
Requirements
Proficiency in
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Working knowledge of
Adobe Animate CC
Experience in
storyboarding and creating animatics
Strong understanding of
composition, perspective, color theory, and visual storytelling
Ability to translate scripts into clear visual sequences
Portfolio showcasing
storyboards, animatics, and design work
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of
2D animation pipelines
Experience working on animated ads, explainers, or branded content
Basic knowledge of timing, pacing, and shot composition
