Job Description

We are looking for a creative and skilled

2D Animator

with a passion for anime and manga to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong artistic ability, storytelling skills, and experience in creating fluid animations in Japanese anime style. You will be responsible for bringing characters, backgrounds, and stories to life through engaging animations while maintaining the authentic anime aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:

Create high-quality 2D character animations in anime style (actions, emotions, and expressions). Design and animate fight scenes, cinematic sequences, and everyday actions based on project needs. Work closely with directors, storyboard artists, and illustrators to ensure accurate representation of manga-to-animation adaptations. Apply timing, squash-and-stretch, and other principles of animation to achieve natural flow. Develop backgrounds, visual effects, and transitions matching anime/manga aesthetics. Maintain consistency of art style across all assets and scenes. Edit and refine animations based on feedback. Collaborate with sound and post-production teams to sync animation with audio.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a 2D Animator (portfolio of anime-style work required). Strong knowledge of Japanese anime/manga art styles and trends. Proficiency in animation software such as

Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, TVPaint, Clip Studio Paint, or After Effects

. Strong drawing and sketching skills (especially anatomy, perspective, and expressions). Understanding of frame-by-frame and rig-based animation. Ability to work with storyboards, animatics, and keyframes. Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
