2D Animator & Blender Expert

Koolath Advertising is looking for a talented and creative 2D Animator & Blender Expert to join our team in Thrissur.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled 2D Animator & Blender Expert with a strong artistic vision and technical proficiency. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience, a solid portfolio, and the ability to create high-quality animated content and 3D assets. You will be a key player in our creative team, responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing compelling visuals that align with client needs and campaign objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Animation & Design

Create visually engaging 2D animations for various platforms, including social media, websites, and digital ads. Model, texture, and render 3D objects and environments using Blender. Develop storyboards and animation concepts that effectively communicate brand stories and campaign messages. Ensure all animations and 3D assets are consistent with client brand guidelines and project requirements.

Collaboration & Leadership

Work closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and account managers to create cohesive, integrated campaigns. Provide creative input and technical expertise during brainstorming sessions and client meetings. Support junior team members with guidance and feedback on animation and 3D projects.

Software Expertise

Utilize proficiency in Blender for 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering. Expertly use Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for 2D animation, motion graphics, and video editing. Work with other tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create and prepare assets.

Project Management

Manage and prioritize multiple animation and 3D projects, ensuring timely delivery and meticulous attention to detail. Incorporate feedback from clients and internal teams to refine and finalize work. Maintain an organized system for project files and assets.

Trend Awareness & Innovation

Stay up to date with the latest trends in 2D animation, 3D design, and motion graphics. Experiment with new techniques and software to push creative boundaries and deliver fresh, innovative results.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Digital Media, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a 2D Animator and/or 3D Designer. A strong portfolio showcasing a range of animation and 3D projects.

Skills

Advanced proficiency in Blender (modeling, sculpting, texturing, rigging, rendering). Expertise in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. A strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling. Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas and collaborating with a team. Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

Experience in an advertising or creative agency environment. Knowledge of video production processes and workflows. Skills in other 2D animation software (e.g., Toon Boom Harmony) or 3D software (e.g., Maya, Cinema 4D) are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Amalanagar, Thrissur, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:

Blender: 1 year (Preferred) 2D Animation: 3 years (Preferred) Client Handling: 1 year (Preferred)
