About the Role

ZO Space is seeking a creative, technically strong, and hands-on 2D/3D Designer to produce clear space plans, compelling 3D visualisations, and accurate design documentation for commercial office interiors. The role requires strong software skills, an eye for functional aesthetics, and the ability to coordinate with sales, projects, and operations teams. You will translate client briefs into presentable concepts, support design-to-execution handoffs, and perform limited on-site supervision to ensure design intent is followed during fit-outs.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Visualization

Create 2D layouts, furniture plans, and detailed space planning drawings. Develop 3D models and photorealistic renders/walkthroughs for client presentations. Prepare mood boards, material palettes, and concept presentations aligned to client brief.

Technical Documentation

Produce execution-ready drawings (plans, elevations, furniture layouts) and detail sheets. Maintain and update the design library, standard templates, and layer/file organization. Support preparation of GFC (Good For Construction) drawings and BOQ inputs when required.

Client & Internal Collaboration

Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, and Operations to understand client requirements and timelines. Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate design options for client approvals. Prepare presentation packs and support client meetings with clear visuals and rationale.

Site Coordination & Supervision

Conduct periodic site visits to verify fit-out progress against design intent and site supervision for critical milestones and quality checks, not full-time project management. Liaise with contractors and vendors to clarify design details and resolve minor site issues.

Software & Quality Control

Ensure renders and drawings maintain consistent visual standards, lighting, and material accuracy. Keep project files organized and deliver assets (plans, renders) within agreed TATs.

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. 1-3 years of professional experience in commercial interiors, workspace design, or architectural visualization. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp (or Revit), and one or more renderers (V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape). Competent in Photoshop/Illustrator for presentation work. Strong sense of space planning, material selection, and visual composition. Good communication skills and ability to present concepts to clients and internal stakeholders. Willingness to travel for site visits across Delhi NCR.

Preferred / Added Advantage

Experience with Revit, Enscape, Unreal Engine, or Blender. Familiarity with BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, and MEP basics. Prior exposure to coworking, managed office interiors, or corporate workspace projects.

Performance Expectations

Deliver 2-4 initial concept options per client brief (2D + 3D visuals) within agreed timelines. Timely delivery of GFC drawings and presentation packs for active projects.

Growth Potential

Opportunity to progress to Senior Designer, Design Lead, or Project Designer based on performance. Exposure to end-to-end design and build projects, collaboration with developers, and premium enterprise clients. Skill development in technical documentation, client handling, and limited site supervision.
