Tasks

Analysing customer requirements documents in terms of traceability, validity and completeness

Analysing customer system requirements in terms of technical feasibility, effort, schedule and risks

Analysing dependencies of the system requirements and clarifying ambiguous requirements

Analysing standards and compliance requirements like LV123, LV124, ISO26262 and establishing traceability, validity

Identify system boundaries and interfaces to the operating environment.

Develop system requirements from the customer requirements

Develop draft feature system architecture alternatives

Derive requirements for HW, SW, Calibration and Mechanical from the system requirements

Derive assembly requirements

Identify the areas which needs simulations and perform simulations in ML/SL, SimScape, PLECS, etc

Perform sensor tolerance, sensitivity analysis and lifetime analysis of the component to ensure the legislative and customer requirements are met

Derive the algorithm requirements for HW and SW for different control strategy and efficiency

Understand and develop the required Diagnostics strategy and requirements for the product at system level

Perform FMEA and DFMEA for the project

Problem Solving and Debugging techniques at the system level

Responsibilities:

Responsible for following tasks in Inverter, DCDC Converter, eAxle, Inverter, Motor and Gearbox

Customer requirement elicitation

Deriving requirements and system-concepts

Deriving Architecture requirements and support System Architecture development

Write requirements for HW, SW and Calibration

Skills and Competencies required

• Very good understanding on the Power Electronics and Drives
• Good understanding of System Engineering development Process
• Knowledge regarding product engineering processes (component development, SW-development, calibration)
• Good knowledge in Product Development of Inverter for Automotive Applications
• Knowledge on ISO26262 & ISO6469.
• Knowledge on FMEA, FTA
• Experience in embedded software development in automotive domain.
• Knowledge of failure handling in SW solutions of automotive systems.
• Requirements management in DOORS
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, flexible, fast learner.
• Excellent communication skills with professional and positive attitude
• Experience in working with International Teams/Inter-Cultural Exposure

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech in EEE and/or M. Tech in Power Electronics/E.Machine/E.drives/Control system/Power system/Electronics with 5+ years of Experience
