Job Description

Responsibilities: ?Design and implement database schemas, tables, and relationships for Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases. ?Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to meet application requirements. ?Accelerate DB Migrations and Cloud adoption (AWS RDS/EC2) across the portfolio with focus on OLTP ?Accountable for synchronization of transactional and reporting databases with Golden Gate as the main component ?Drive target state architecture to migrate from monolithic database to micro and next generation lightweight databases and seamlessly manage ?Collaborate with Product Development to recommend next generation DB architectural patterns for micro service architecture ?Migration of Improve DB monitoring and operations maturity ?Accountable for critical database incidents resolution and DB Performance & Availability ?Drive DB deployment optimization and reduce deployment cycles as well improve automation to eliminate manual touchpoints ##LI-DNI
Required Skills and Experience: ?12+ years of experience in Database development, Administration and Cloud database services. ?Demonstrated experience in DB Modelling, Performance Tuning, , Optimization Techniques and PL/SQL programming (stored procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers) using Cursors, Ref cursors, Collections, Types etc. ?Demonstrated experience in Cloud DB services migration/adoption ?Experience in DB upgrades, patching, quarterly updates and Disaster Recovery strategy ?Hands on experience in Linux Shell Scripting or Python programming and automation of DB activities in the principles of IaaC ?Exposure to the micro-service architecture patterns and Database architecture patterns ?Should have good Troubleshooting skills to root-cause critical bugs ?Analytical thinking and adept at problem solving. ?Should be a team player with good communication skills. Desired: ?Experience in HCM domain and SaaS based product offerings ?Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, MariaDB, Hbase etc. ?DevOps pipeline and tools (Ansible, Jenkins) related to DB configuration management is a plus
